RESCUE DOGS

Rescue dogs often present unique problems.  Unfortunately, we often don't know the history of the dog and that can make troubleshooting solutions a careful proposition, which is where our expertise comes in as a factor.  Many conventional methods have to be modified, and the training regime must oftentimes develop more slowly to help build trust that has been lost between humans and the canine. A typical rescue dog should be allowed time to "settle in" to its new environment for at least a few weeks before any serious training should commence, so as to not push the animal into an even more delicate state.

We have a special place in our hearts for rescues.  As a result we offer a 50% discount off our initial assessment consultaion fee if you have a rescue in need of help that you have adopted in the last 6 months from a shelter, a rescue organization, or the street.
